As the Pandemic Keeps Drivers Off the Roads, Auto Insurers Give Back

Driving less during the pandemic? Auto insurers understand.

Several auto insurers, including Liberty Mutual, announced they will give policyholders millions of dollars back because Americans are driving less while they shelter in place during the coronavirus pandemic.

Liberty Mutual Auto insurance customers will receive 15% refunds on two months of their premiums, returning $250 million to consumers. The company will also pause cancellations for not paying, and waive late fees.
